Every artistic pursuit is an emotional journey.  We can spend months even years slaving over the same project from script development through performance.  Maybe your production was a hit, attracting large audiences, getting great reviews, possibly even garnering critical acclaim…now what?

No matter how successful a production is, I am always a little blue when a project comes to an end.  I sometimes feel lost and uneasy for a few days (sometimes weeks) following.  Part of it is from the crash after such an exciting climax (the production), part of it is my need to always be doing something,  part of it is the sadness of letting go of the creation I birthed.  Part of it is separating from my new family of cast and crew who are equally responsible for breathing life into the production…
